Welcome to Restart Jeffco!

This website is intended to keep the Jeffco Public Schools community informed and engaged as we move through the summer months and look toward restarting school in the fall of 2020.

As we begin thinking about the next school year, we are sharing the Jeffco Public Schools Restart Model-Draft in an effort to outline the district’s plans.

Please enjoy this website, read the draft of the Restart Model, and share your feedback through the survey included within the document.

We greatly appreciate your feedback to support our collaborative efforts to ensure the health and education of the entire Jeffco community.

possible scenarios

Learning occurs in a traditional classroom setting with accommodations for social distancing, cleaning and disinfecting, and symptom monitoring.

Learning continues both in-person and remotely. Face-to-face settings follow protocols set forth by state and county directives, as well as Jeffco Public Schools safety standards.

Learning occurs at home with instruction and support provided by Jeffco teachers and staff. In this model, both asynchronous and synchronous sessions are supported with communication, interaction, and digital and paper learning.
