DISTRICTWIDE CONSISTENCY = EQUITABLE INSTRUCTION

Varying start and end times create different lengths of day per school and unequal amounts of in-classroom instruction time for students across the district. With some schools starting at 7:45 a.m., and others at 8:00 a.m., that extra 15 minutes per day can add up to months of educational time that some students have and some don't.

Our goal is to eliminate this inequity by aligning start and end times across all of our schools.
