Jeffco values community engagement and recognizes the importance of social media as a means of communication. These channels are intended to share information about the district, schools and promote various resources and services. However, they are not meant to be public forums covering all topics. Jeffco manages and moderates all content and comments.
Please note that the opinions expressed on district social media platforms do not necessarily reflect those of Jeffco Public Schools or the Jefferson County Board of Education. The district reserves the right to delete comments that contain:
- Vulgar language
- Personal attacks
- Discrimination towards any group
- Disregard for privacy
- Offensive or provoking content
- Spam
- Off-topic discussions
- Promotion of illegal activity or violence
- Endorsement of services, products, or political organizations
- Copyright or trademark infringement
- Defamation
- Misleading/false information
To maintain an informative and friendly environment on district profiles, Jeffco reserves the right to restrict the comment section on social posts.
