Facilities Consultants & Contractors

Jeffco Public Schools is a large district with an ongoing need for outside consultants and contractors for projects of all sizes. Jeffco prequalifies consultants and contractors on an ongoing basis to be placed on the district’s approved vendor list. Applications are reviewed monthly.

Contractors wishing to be able to bid on upcoming projects should fill out the appropriate application and satisfy other requirements as noted below.

Consultant Forms and Information

Jeffco prequalifies consultants on an ongoing basis. There is no deadline to complete the form. Submissions will be reviewed monthly. Consultants need to submit the following:

Contractor Forms and Information

Jeffco prequalifies contractors on an ongoing basis for large construction projects (over $100,000). There is no deadline to complete the form; submissions will be reviewed monthly.

Contractors are required to review the large construction notice and submit the large construction prequalification application and relevant projects form.

Vendor and Contractor Prequalification for Small Projects

Jeffco‘s Purchasing Department for Support Services processes applications for small projects vendor prequalification list. Those interested in working with the district on future small projects should read, complete and return these forms:

In addition to these forms, applicants must submit the following:

  • A current insurance certificate that includes the following statement in the description section of the insurance certificate: Jefferson County School District R-1, its officers, board members, and employees are included as Additional Insured as required.     • W-9
    • Copy of trade or company license
    • State of Colorado certificate of Good Standing

Forms can also be emailed to purchasing@jeffco.k12.co.us, with the subject line listed as “PreQual Form 2018.” Incomplete packets will not be processed.
