Mentorship
The Bridging Connections Mentorship Program provides youth with positive adult connections to help guide them with life skills and goal planning that prepare them to be confident, self-advocates, and successful adults.
Bridging Connections Mentorship envisions a community in which every youth experiences nurturing one-to-one relationships and community support, which in turn allows each of them to develop into their full potential, capable of making informed, responsible decisions as involved members of our community.
Become a Mentor
Bridging Connections is seeking mentors to commit a minimum of four hours a month to build a relationship with a Jeffco teen. These students are between the ages of 11 and 19 who may be experiencing homelessness, involved in the foster care system, struggling with attendance or school engagement or dealing with various traumas. The program's goals are to strengthen Social Emotional Learning (SEL) competencies, increase academic progress and explore post-secondary options or careers while learning new life skills. This is done by creating a supportive, encouraging, guiding relationship with the Jeffco teen.
