Native American Education Program
The Native American Education Program (NAEP) is a unit within the Jeffco Public Schools Student Engagement office. The goal of NAEP is to support educational success and increase belonging through the use of culturally responsive practices with Native and Indigenous students and families. Support is provided in the areas of:
- Mentoring
- Dropout prevention
- Cultural events and activities
- Peer and family networking and support
NAEP Program Eligibility
Student must be enrolled in a Jeffco school and:
- The child's parent or guardian identifies the child as being of American Indian, Alaska Native or Native Hawaiian descent.
- If the student, parent, and/or grandparent is enrolled in their tribe, they are encouraged to complete the Title VI Student Eligibility Certification (506) form and contact Emily Richy at 720-672-7520 or email at emily.richy@jeffco.k12.co.us.
