Native American Education Program

The Native American Education Program (NAEP) is a unit within the Jeffco Public Schools Student Engagement office. The goal of NAEP is to support educational success and increase belonging through the use of culturally responsive practices with Native and Indigenous students and families. Support is provided in the areas of:

  • Mentoring
  • Dropout prevention
  • Cultural events and activities
  • Peer and family networking and support

Enrollment Eligibility

Student must be enrolled in a Jeffco school and:

  • The child's parent or guardian identifies the child as being of American Indian, Alaska Native or Native Hawaiian descent, or the child, parent or grandparent is identified as having a tribal affiliation.
  • The parent or guardian obtains, completes, and signs a Title VII Student Eligibility Certification (506) form that is then filed with the NAEP office.
