Student Benefits

Healthy School Meals for All

Jeffco Food and Nutrition Services (FNS) believes that access to healthy meals is essential to student success. Thanks to the passage of the Healthy School Meals for All in November 2022, beginning in the 2023-24 school year, all students will eat for free, regardless of income eligibility.

Families that are eligible for free and reduced lunch should still complete a Student Benefits Application to receive other benefits and free access to district programs.

Families must submit a new Student Benefits Application every year. Forms are available starting July 1 every year.

When completing the Student Benefits Application, families can agree to share information from the form to avoid having to pay certain district or program fees.

Allow at least 10 business days to hear from the Food & Nutrition Office after submitting an application.

Formal complaints regarding civil rights violations in relation to student benefits can be filed by completing the Jeffco FNS Discrimination Complaint Form.
