September is National Suicide Prevention Month. All month, mental health advocates, prevention organizations, survivors, allies, and community members unite to promote suicide prevention awareness.

Join Jeffco Public Schools as we explore a different topic within suicide prevention. Make time to use the weekly resources and activities to Learn, Connect, Take Care and Share. We believe that suicide prevention is Everybody’s Business because Every Person Matters, Every Single Day!

Suicide continues to be a major public health concern in the United States, around the world, and especially in Colorado. Help prevent suicide by learning the facts and increasing your awareness.

Young people need trusted adults - having a positive relationship with a trusted adult at home or school is associated with decreased risk of suicide attempts for young people.

National 4‑H Council commissioned a national survey with The Harris Poll to explore teens' perceptions and experiences around mental health. 82% of youth say they wish our country would talk about talk about mental health and make it a priority.
