Student Safety, Our Shared Responsibility internal work groups are comprised of more than 30 Jeffco staff members from across the district. Together with child safety expert advisors, these groups will lead projects focused on creating safer and more supportive learning environments for all students.

Child Safety Experts
Ralston House
Ralston House is a safe place to investigate child abuse and ensure victim services for children who have been physically or sexually abused.
CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates)
Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) are volunteers who advocate for children involved in the child welfare system.

PorchLight is a Family Justice Center (FJC) that provides comprehensive services for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, abuse of at-risk individuals, elder abuse and human trafficking.

For over 50 years, the Kempe Center for the Prevention and Treatment of Child Abuse and Neglect has worked to improve the lives of children and families and strengthen the communities that serve them.
How to Report a Safety Concern
Safe2Tell
Safe2Tell helps students anonymously report anything that concerns or threatens them, their friends, family or community.

Report child abuse and neglect
If you know a family that could use support or if you have concerns about possible child abuse or neglect, call 1-844-CO-4-KIDS (1-844-264-5437).

Jeffco Public Schools is committed to providing a work and learning environment that is free from discrimination based on sex, which includes sexual harassment.
Jeffco 24/7 Emergency Dispatch
The Jeffco Emergency Dispatch Center is active 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. It is the main point of contact for the community, law enforcement, parents, staff and students. If there is an emergency, dial 911. Then call Jeffco’s Emergency Dispatch Center at 303-982-2445
